The various solvents like Alcohols, Glycols, Glycol ethers, Esters, Hydrocarbon and Ketone are being used in various applications like packaging, paint, coating, adhesive, resin, pipes etc. Some distinctive applications are as below.

Solvents like Ethyl Acetate, MEK and Acetone are being used as diluent in solvent based PU adhesive.

Solvents like N-propanol and N-propyl Acetate are used as reducer in NC-PU Flexo lamination ink.

Ethoxy propanol and Methoxy propanol are being used as retarder in NC-PU Flexo lamination ink.

N-propyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate and Isopropyl Alcohol are being used as reducer for gravure ink system.

Methoxy propyl Acetate is being used as retarder in gravure ink system for shrink film.

Ethyl Acetate, N-propyl Acetate and IPA are used as reducer for regular gravure ink system.

Methoxy propanol or Dowanol PM is being used as retarder for gravure ink system.
